Of Raffles Place and Diapers

Wow! Here I am at the heart of the Financial District of Singapore, sitting in a cafe, eating an egg sandwich and slurping up a pepsi, and of course publishing this blog. Its amazing what technology can do. Just a few metres away is the SGX or the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Feels great! Wish I can travel like this. Next stop, Wall Street. Oh, which reminds me of a cool story that a friend of mine, Nalin, told me. The Stock Brokers in Wall Street wear diapers! Reason, two things. They cant afford to miss any action, and, also the place where they stand is important. A panoramic view of all the boards is the envy of any stock broker, apparently. So they stand there for around three to four hours in their diapers. So, the next time you see a wall street stock broker who looks pissing mad, he probably is!!
